600 etecs have been known to lack throttle response at ~ 3/4 throttle much like the 800 etec, and like the 800 etec not all 600 etec had this problem. It's a sure sign that. Just traded in my 2012 renegade etec 600 with 14,300 km and i had 0 problems. The 600 etec is dead nuts reliable. I would drop my 800 etec and get a 600 without even.

This all started when i installed a trickle charger/battery tender for the off season. Machine was fine, running with no issues. After installing charger, no. After new carb boots, fuel filter, and other stuff i can't remember, the problem turned out to be the fuel pump. It took 3 visits to the dealer and 3 lost weekends of riding for them to. My wife’s 600 etec starts and idles fine, but after warming up it spits and sputters. You can throttle through it and it will run fine after about 30 seconds. It won’t do this on a stand. My father has a 2016 skidoo renegade 600 etec.

It took 3 visits to the dealer and 3 lost weekends of riding for them to. My wife’s 600 etec starts and idles fine, but after warming up it spits and sputters. You can throttle through it and it will run fine after about 30 seconds. It won’t do this on a stand. My father has a 2016 skidoo renegade 600 etec. The sled is a turd. He is not a fast or aggressive rider and he was complaining about how sluggish the motor was. I had a flawless 5500 miles on my 09 600 etec. Looks to me like a combination of bad gas and possibly problem with oil pump? I always run a splash of startron in each tank to. 2010 renegade x 600 etec just over 2000 miles engine is out and on the bench. Root cause crank bearing seal failure on the magneto side. Does anyone know what specific changes doo made to the 2010 600 etec from the 09 version? Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please. I bolded the parts from you two posts that leads me to believe there is an electrical issue causing this problem. I have seen such problems cause trouble with the engine stalling.
